As a documentary and corporate photographer, I’ve learned over the years that powerful visuals don’t happen by accident. A compelling photo is more than a well-timed clickβ€”it’s about seeing the bigger picture, capturing with intention, and telling stories that resonate.

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to cover the 2nd National Agroecology Symposium hosted by PELUM Kenya. The event brought together over 48 organizations, each playing a vital role in shaping Kenya’s agroecological landscape. My role wasn’t just to document, but to distill the essence of innovation, collaboration, and transformation into a visual narrative that could speak across platforms and purposes.

From grassroots initiatives to academic presentations and policy discussions, every image was crafted to reflect meaning, convey purpose, and inspire action.
